There are times when the issue stems from the purge cap not working properly. Apply some lubricant on the sliders of the purge cap and it should work properly.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Reset the Cartridges<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Sometimes, the solution can be as simple as just resetting the Canon Ink Cartridges. To do this, simply turn the printer off and take out the plug. Press the Reset button two times while holding the On button then let go of the On button. You\u2019ll enter factory settings by doing this. When you see Shipping Mode 3, click on it then hit the Ok button. After that, click the Reset button<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Reset the Squander Ink Absorber<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Another thing that you can do is to reset the squander ink absorber. In order to do this, you have to make sure that the printer is off then hold the button with a triangle and a circle. While holding that button, press the On button and a green light should appear. Hold down the On button then release the button with a triangle and circle. After that, press it two times then release the On button.
