These are the universal steps you should take when trying to reset your ink levels:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>I. Universal Reset (Pixma iP\/MP\/MX\/MG)<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Click \u2018Stop\/Reset\u2019, \u2018OK\u2019, or \u2018Resume\u2019 on the screen alert. You can also hold the \u2018Reset\u2019 button on your printer, if you know which one it is.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>II. Pixma iP Ink Counter Reset<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Long press the Resume and Power button for 5 seconds.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Resume pressing the Power button while releasing the Resume button.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Press the Resume button repeatedly for 5 times before releasing the Power button.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>III. Pixma MP\/MX\/MG Series: General Printer &amp; Ink Counter Reset<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Turn off the printer and hold \u2018Stop\/Reset\u2019 and Power buttons.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Press the \u2018Stop\/Reset\u2019 button twice without releasing the Power button.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">After a few seconds, the LED should show 0.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Press the \u2018Stop\/Reset\u2019 button repeatedly for 4 times and the power button 2 times.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Turn off the printer to reset the printer.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Once the printer is reset, unplug the printer then open the cartridge door.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Long press the power button before plugging the printer back to its power source and reconnecting all the cables.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Release the power button and put back the cartridge door.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">For a more specific guide to resetting Canon Ink Cartridges levels on your printer, check your user manual and make sure you have the right software for your printer.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>There are varying procedures in resetting the ink levels of these Canon Ink Cartridges series.
